I'm amazed at how some customers come across our cards....I just received a sales notification that someone had bought 5 of my cards (the same card).... The email says the source of the order was an onsite search for 'sympathy sudden death of brother'. The 5 cards that were bought were Wedding Invitations.....quite a leap from the original search. Shocked

I'm always glad for a sale and certainly am not complaining....I just find it remarkable.

I agree with you Cheryl. Sounds like that buyer has a lot going on at once.

I recently made my first sympathy card sale, and I found it hard to be happy about a sale that had sadness behind it, but a bit relieved to know that maybe for a moment, my card gave them some sort of comfort.
We serve a lot of purposes here at GCU don`t we?

Come on gang, you mean to tell me you have never entered in a search string and then gotten completely side-tracked wandering through sections of online stores to look at things that caught your attention, but you were not even looking for when you logged in? Grin

Boy I do that all the time...hahaha! I'm sure this is what happens, I have noticed it too from many of my sales. I imagine the system can only report the initial search criteria.
