Why do the landing page reports not match visits

Why do the traffic landing page and most visited pages reports do not come close to matching the reported store visits.

While the most visited page reports shows 952 visits for my store and the top landing shows 931 visits for dec8 to 28 period, the store visit report shows over 8000 store visits during the same period.

How can this be?
Is reporting delayed somehow?

Hi David,

I believe that this is because the analytics report is tracking hits to the URL:
greetingcarduniverse.com/valxart

Your store report is tracking hits to this URL as well as visitors navigating through the different pages of your store. So for example, if someone clicks over to your second page of cards, the store report tracks this as a visit but the analytics report does not track this because the URL has now changed.
