What a great way to get acquainted with other artists and advertise my own work in the same place.
I started to fill out the forms for my store and realized that because my card designs are personalized
the customer is required to upload an image to my site so as i can add there image to there chosen design.
Can i place a link to my site for customers to do this. : thumbs up
Hi Daniel,
Welcome to GCU! I see your storefront has no cards nor do you have any cards pending review. I suspect you're waiting an answer here before you begin.
By personalized cards I'm assuming you mean your cards incorporate the customer's photo(s). If this is correct then yes, the shopper will need to contact you via a Custom Request feature we have on our site. This feature allows them to send images to you.
Custom requests and Photo cards are relatively new to GCU. We have and continue to make many improvements to the process. Please see related forum topic here:

http://www.greetingcarduniverse.com/forum/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1260578652 You mention your "own site" which is certainly fine and quite usual for artists to have their own website in addition to their storefront on GCU. You can include a link to your website from your GCU storefront but that's about as far as any integration goes. Still any images, custom requests and orders would be done on GCU vs your site to avoid passing the customer back and forth and likely losing them all together.
If you'd like to create a card and reply here with your PID# we can take a look which may make things more clear.
Hope that helps. Let me know if you have additional questions.
