Right now a card buyer can click on the Remove Item link while viewing the contents of their cart and the item simply is gone. That can be horrific if they've spent a lot of time personalizing the card and entering the address. They may have clicked the Remove Item link in hast, by accident, or perhaps meant to remove a different card from their cart. Perhaps a short "are you sure?" pop-up might make sense. I know it's common when people goof-up and can't recover, they tend to dump the whole order and never come back - somehow being satisfied telling themselves "It was the website's fault."
