Share your cards on Facebook and other sites
Jul 20th, 2009, 6:22pm

Hi Everyone,

We recently added a "Share" button to the GCU product pages that will allow you to share your cards on Facebook, Twitter, Digg and many other sites and social networks.

You can see what I'm referring to on the page below, just beneath the Card Size and Product ID fields.   If you move your mouse over the Share button you'll see a list of locations where you can share the page:

I don't think you can 'share' on Squidoo like you can on some of the others, but Elizabeth reminded me that all of us on Squidoo would LOVE to have GCU work with Squidoo on creating a Squidoo module to make selling our cards on our lens an easier task!

I just 'shared' a card on my blog (blogspot.com) and there isn't a picture of the card with the post, is there supposed to be?  Was there a step I missed?

I'm having a hard time finding this button. Found it once, tried to post a card to FaceBook, got a garbled Google icon and nothing posted. Now I can't even find the Share button again. Where is it??

Hi Doreen,
The ability to post a picture will vary from site to site, so I'm actually not too sure if Blogspot will allow you to post a picture.

Have any other Blogspot users been able to do this?

Hi Margaret,
The Share button is always going to be near the bottom of the card details section (the area that displays the price, inside text, etc.)

When posting on Facebook, you have the option to select from different images on that page, so if you see the Google image, you should be able to click the next arrow to choose a different thumbnail.  You should eventually get to your card image.

Shawn, what about us that don't care to use Facebook or Twitter? Would you auto send cards to Facebook and Twitter? I don't trust those web sites. How safe are they? Am I to old? Huh kiss Wink

Patricia, you can't post to Facebook, or I imagine Twitter, if you don't have an account with them. So no worries!

Thanks Tanya, I've never opened any account with facebbok or twitter as I've read that it's mostly teens using it but then again I've also read that more and more older people are using those web sites. Hmmmm. I've also read that there have been big opps on those web sites too. Just like meny other web sites I guess. I've started with AOL and sticking with it to the bitter end, lol Wink Cheesy Grin.
