Returned for edits
Jul 9th, 2009, 12:00am

Mindy, I have half a dozen cards returned for edits. I have been asked to profile them into a specific age. They are already profiled with the age requested. I don't understand what the reviewer wants. Will you take a look for me? I replied to the email, but nothing has happened.
I also have one returned for age profiling where the profile does not exist, so I have put it into a general age.
Please look at 451279.
Thanks

Still no reply to my emails. Mindy, will you look at these cards?

Just to clarify, are your cards profiled for the specific age, or did you put them into an age-specific category? Some people confuse profiling with categorization, which are two different things. I wasn't sure if that  might not be the problem.

Hi Corrie,
With over 6000 cards, I felt I knew a bit about profiling, but this had me stumped. The cards are put into a specific age, and were returned with the request to put them into the same place they were in already. One card was for age 111, and there is no profile for that so I put that into a general age group. It was rejected with the request to put it into a specific age, which is impossible!
I think I will just cut my losses and delete them all.

Norma, I had the same thing happen to me as far as the age goes. This was when the ages did not go past 100 and I had 101. I replied to the reviewer, which you have done, and he/she said that they would check with Mindy about how they should be categorized and profiled. They finally, after several days, approved them the way I had originally done them. I know that doesn't answer your question, but, maybe it helps to know you aren't alone!  Wink
