Hi Jamie,
You keep doing what you are doing because it's working!  Smiley

It was also very helpful for us to hear that you had no sales generated by that last promotion, Sad since I think we all assume that such exposure is bound to bring in sales.
OK back to the salt mines everyone!  Grin

I think this is an interesting topic about what actually makes something art. Let's face it, many of the popular cards on this site are very simplistic cards that convey a simple idea, because that's what most people want. I have said before that I do not cosider myself an artist. 95 percent of my pictures are not even my photographs, they are my sister's. SHE'S the artist in our duo. The picture on our best-selling card is one that neither one of us even likes! I do, however, possess an eye for cropping, layering and adding font. That being said, there are many people that make their money on this site by designing cards with stock photos from sites. If they are obtaining them legally, (and I'm sorry, but not all of them do), then that's fine. Do I think it's kinda cheating? Just from an artistic standpoint. I think you should use your original stuff. But if you think out the pictures, arrange your subjects, (or just happen to get a great picture while on vacation), then yes, that is art. It is your original creation.
