Pay Day - 03/31/09

The 1st quarter payments are being processed reflecting commissions earned from 1/03/09 - 3/31/09. The checks are scheduled to be in the mail or PayPal payments made by Thursday, 4/30/09. (Please note, due to busy year end holidays, 4Q08 earnings were paid for earnings up to 1/2/09 vs 12/31/08 thus 1Q09 earnings will be calculated starting on 1/3/09 vs 1/1/09).

Payments will be made to artists who are owed a minimum of $25 by the end of the pay period (3/31/09) or accordingly if you have changed your Minimum Payment to a greater amount.

Please Note: Your Earnings & Payments report may show a pending amount. If you have had sales after 3/31/09 then the commissions are not part of the amount due for 1st quarter payment. You can see your earnings due for 1st quarter by adjusting your Earnings History date range to 1/03/09 - 3/31/09 (or earlier start date if you have yet to earn over your minimum):

Additionally, your current payment reflects your 1st quarter earnings less any card purchases you have made using your earned fees prior to 3/31/09 .

For next pay period, you can change your Payment To name, Mailing Address, Minimum Payment, Payment Method (check or PayPal) as well as update your Tax ID # or Social Security # in Account Information:

If the cheques don't go in the mail til the end of the month that should really be reflected in the report.

My report shows cheque issued April 1, cheque number, amount. There's no indication that it won't be mailed til the end of the month. I was about to come and ask how long it normally takes for a mailed cheque to arrive

Maybe there could be a notation in the reports that says cheques are mailed at the end of the month rather than at the issue date?

We have to freeze earnings at the end of the earnings period in order to avoid earned commissions from being spent into the next earnings period. If we did not do this the amount due would be a moving target. We also allow ourselves 30 days for reconciling and processing to make sure all the "i"s are dotted and the "t"s are crossed.

This line item is on the Earnings & Payments Page:
July 31st, 2009 for commissions earned from April 1st to June 30th

We'll see if any notation on the check issued line can be added for clarity.
