Mindy,
I had thought that the card I received the other day must be from the new printer, as the stock was noticably lighter in weight and color than the old stock...but alas it did not have my URL on back...so I guess it was from the old printer...which is both confusing and a relief.  The cut edge on front upper and right was of poor quality.  Never had another card with that problem.  I was concerned that the new printer would not offer the same precision cut that the old printer did....BUT if that was the old printer...well I don't know what happened...So that's a relief and now I will just wait and see what the NEW PRINTER's cards DO look like.   Shocked

Can't wait to see the new back of cards...I will be ordering soon.  Great job, GCU!
 
PS...I have to second Jen, David, I happen to be a real live artist doing quite well with my craft.  I have learned a great deal from the forums even though not every issue is of concern or interest to me.  I use the dele key, don't read or respond to some threads, and in fact, from time to time, don't even open my mail.  I take advantage of turing off and on certain forums as Corrie suggested.
 
Hope that your day improves, David, and I hope that anyone, newbies and "oldies" alike aren't discouraged from asking questions.

Great!!!  but i need to know what if anything i should do in that  the preview of my pic and url , name...  looks appropriate to the way it should sit...  but on the cards they are up or down a bit and doesn't look so great.

I know I'm late and thats because I really haven't been around much, but I just want to say thank you to GCU!  I put a few cards up and noticed we now have alot more colors, yeah!!!  And the approval time for those cards was really good.  Just a thank you for everything that you do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Smiley

Thanks, Mindy. I am pleased with all the changes you are making on GCU.
 
Oddly, I didn't get an email about your post, but just stumbled onto it when someone else's post mentioned credits on the back of the card and I didn't know what they were talking about.  
 
Is there a way to check to see if I am on the list to receive emails for GCU News and Announcements. I don't remember getting Mike's important post on June 20th either, but I might have just missed that one since I was very busy at the time.

Hi Dustin... if you look at the top of this page near the search box, you will see a "notification" link.  Click on this and then sign up for all of the forum emails you wish to receive.  Hopefully, that will fix it.

Thanks, Gina. I checked there and didn't see a choice for the GCU News and Announcements category. I am guessing that all artists receive the emails for those posts, and I am not sure why I didn't, but maybe Mindy can clarify.

Wow, that is odd. My list shows only 7 categories, but I see that there are actually 12 forum categories. We'll see what Mindy says.
