Search function in categories

I've tried this now several times on several days.

If I search for example "moon" on the main page, I get a few cards tagged moon.
Now, I DO want a moon photograph, so I go to category "photography" and search there, no?
No.
If I go there and type in moon, it doesn't search in that category it hops back to the main page.

What am I doing wrong??? Huh
