Newest and Most Popular Buttons Not Working

It may be my browser(?)---but I've tried to load the main search page from 'most popular' to 'newest' and nothing is happening.  Signed out---and now see 'newest' --but won't let it switch back to 'most popular'.
 
Temp glitch?
