New - Artist's Notes field

The Artist's Notes feature should be lots of fun giving you the space to share with shoppers card by card commentary on the location, inspiration, technique used, etc. It is optional, if no text exists it simply does not appear.

Artist's Notes can be added to new cards during the card creation process and for existing cards under Manage Cards under Edit.

Artist's Notes will appear on the card image rollover just above the keywords. They will not be printed on the cards.

Please note, this is not intended to be used for a general About the Artist content.

People are always wanting to know where an inspiration came from or background info on artwork and this feature will help customers find out this information and help them get to know the artists a little better.

Hi all,
They will NOT be a factor in search.

So sorry.... I must restate that.

They will not be taken into consideration for our onsite search, however as with all content they will be a consideration for search engines, which is good, the more relevant content the better chances someone will find what they're looking for - your card
