Need Advice
Aug 14th, 2017, 12:53pm

I have a line of Anniversary cards for milestone years, 10, 20, 30 etc. I was thinking of filling in the gaps with 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc. but that would create so many cards. Would it be better to do just one custom card where the shopper can input the years? I was wondering if shoppers prefer the card already setup.

Thanks, any advice would be much appreciated!

Hi Ron,

That's what I do. The primary years - 5th, 10th, etc ...

As a married woman of 37-years, I felt that since I would not ever look for a 37th anniversary card, most customers wouldn't either. Right or wrong, it's served me well to have just one custom front version in addition to the milestone years.

Hi, Ron. Your idea of creating a customizable card is a good one, though I think most customers prefer to have a card already made for them to buy without any further effort.  I have an anniversary series, too, and I created cards for every five years, up to the 75th anniversary. I also made designs for anniversaries 1 through 10. It seems to be enough. In my opinion, I don't think people keep track much of other folks' every anniversary unless they are directly related. Perhaps you could make a customizable card to a spouse, to parents, or to " son and daughter-in-law" & visa-versa.
Be sure to first submit your basic idea for the series, and get it approved, before you make and submit any subsequent cards. Best of luck with your anniversary series.
