Urgent, - customer request in a muddle!

Yesterday late afternoon I had a customer request to change the wording on a card. I sent her a message as soon as I could, checking exactly what she wanted me to change and telling her that I would customize the card and upload it to my private gallery as soon as I heard back from her.
 
Later in the evening she wrote back with more detail about the customization and said that she had just paid by paypal, which I thought was odd. But I customized the card and sent her the link to the it in my private gallery but about the same time, I had a sale notification email of the same card having been sold but with the original wording. PID: 784827
 
So I'm wondering whether the customer doesn't understand the system and believes that the card that is now on its way to her will be the customized version, in which case she is going to be very disappointed. Or maybe it was just coincidence and someone else chose the same card? I have no way of knowing.
 
Is there anything that can be done to sort this out?

Hi Judy,
 
In these cases it is best to email customer support. However, the shopper had already emailed us and everything has been taken care of!
