Putting HTML on to Facebook
Dec 11th, 2011, 11:29pm

Hey, can anyone tell me how to add an HTML onto a Facebook page.  I want to advertise my favorite card, and I copied the HTML but don't know how to paste it onto a Facebook page.

Thanks.  ~Ed

Hi Ed,

If you mean a URL or link for a card, copy the URL from your browser e.g. http://myfavoritecard/etc and switch to your Facebook page. Click on "link" and paste the URL. Click on "Attach" and insert some words to go with your link. Then click on "Post". This will post your link to your page on Facebook together with an image of the card. You can see examples of this on my Facebook page.

Cheers,

Hi Ed,

OR open the $$ Sell This Card icon and copy the URL from the TEXT LINK (upper box) and paste that as Rosanne stated into a FB Post.  That way your referral code is embedded Smiley

Sorry, I meant to say, "favorite cards."   I thought there was a way to create adisplay of cards scrolling across the page.  The potential buyer could just click on one she liked.  I got the HTML from the GCU website.

Ah, the 'flash panel'.  To the best of my knowledge FB does not accept 'java script' in most places on your page.  There are undoubtedly ways however.  If you really want to explore the possibilities, ask Google I find a terrific source of FB help out there.
