Thanksgiving Card
Nov 18th, 2011, 9:25am

Pretty bad you are willing to put my thanksgiving card in my personal gallary for me to buy, but you won't put it up for sale for anyone else. I received my cards the other day I was really satisfied with them. I don't see anything wrong with this card. Sometimes I feel picked on here. I am sending my cards out to family. If I didn't think they were nice I wouldn't send them. So what is really the problem?????????????

Don't feel bad, Jonice.  We've all been there.  I have a beautiful card sitting in my private gallery that was declined for public purchase and I just thought to myself, 'is the reviewer crazy!?'  I'm certain the reviewer is absolutely NOT crazy, but that's just what I thought.   Roll Eyes

Have you read Tracie's wonderful blog post on "Rejection is Not Failure!"?  If not, you really should; because her piece truly makes the rejection hurt less.

Yes it is Mindy. After receiving them, I feel they are good enough to sell.

Sorry Jonice, I have to agree with the original reviewer.  The lighting, composition and clarity (some elements are blurry) are less than ideal with an unprofessional end result.  See the difference when compared to other harvest / pumpkin still life photos on GCU.  These are other similarly designed cards that your card will be measured against and it pales in comparison.

I hope that you take this comparison constructively and not that you're been singled out and are being picked on.

Not trying to steer the discussion in another direction, but why is there a cross in a Thanksgiving card?

Probably a religious based Thanksgiving greeting.
