Sorry people, I do not like it either. Time is money!
Anything that can slow down progress is going in the wrong direction for us, and the customer. Just my opinion.
Besides, just because other sites have this doesn't mean we have to be like those other sites. We are unique, as we should be.
What the old mouse over system needed was a command to center it in the page instead of letting it float in relation to the card, which sometimes chopped off a side. The 'quick view' display looks nicer but it is slower than the mouse over used to be. The mouse over was nearly instant without feeling like you left the page.
