Back of Card Credits Editor
Jul 28th, 2011, 2:43am

Thanks to Corrie's great advice in the GCU Newsletter, I decided to change the image on the back of my cards to match my store title image (can't imagine why I hadn't thought of this before!)

However, the 'view large' option available in the Back of Card Credits Editor, doesn't actually allow me to see my BOC image any larger, so unfortunately I can't see how the image will look at actual size, i.e. as it will appear on my cards.  Would it be possible to fix this so we can see an actual size version?

Thanks

Natalie Smiley

Hi Natalie,

It will...often this type of change takes 24-hours to been seen.  If after 24-hours it still is not viewing correctly, you can send a help message to Shaun.

Great logo, Natalie! Clean and simple design, but cute.

I also caught your Old Dog Resists Temptation cards - if anybody's reading this, these are super examples of taking a good photograph, and giving it tons of interest and appeal by the use of creative and clever composition.

Thanks everyone.  I think I was having 'yet another' of what I call 'my adorable senior moments'  Grin I totally forgot that I could check how the back of the card looks on the main GCU pages.  I was trying to check how the back looked on the actual Back of Card Editor page, and that's the one where the 'large' view is actually no bigger than the normal view.

Thanks to all for your comments - Natalie  Smiley

Question...

My logo was originally done several years back by myself - I took a picture of my old Minolta film camera and placed it among some clip art to get the idea I wanted to present - the sun for my nickname (which I'm not feeling too "sunny" these days), a pair of paint brushes, and some drawn in Vs to represent birds - each piece has a significance.

Would it be advisable to recreate this without the clip art?  I don't know who created the paint brushes and the sun but they did say they were free.

Donna, personally I think the paintbrushes and V-shaped birds are cluttering up what would otherwise be a fairly clean design.

I agree with Corrie's suggestion about the paintbrushes.  I do like the sun in the background with the birds.  I think the birds help define the sun, however due to the camera mechanics and their placement,I wonder if the birds would be better off-set on the left to provide a little balance.  I would level the picture.

I changed the back of my cards credit from Cards by Bernard to ©Cards by Bernard, but when I go to my store and look at the back of my cards it still reads Cards by Bernard, including my newest cards.

Why?

Hi Paul..

It can often take 24 hrs or so for changes to show up and stick.  If you changed it all today..  It will most likely be seen tomorrow ok..   Hope that helps.  Smiley  Lj

ohhh..  I guess it's something else then.  Perhaps Shaun or K.C. will see this post and come to your aid or c/p this into the "GCU Support" section.   At times when that did not work so well..  I called for assist on the 800 number.  Good luck to you~   Smiley
