We've added a new feature today that will allow shoppers choose between US Dollars, British Pounds and Euros for pricing on the site.  The new option sits just to the right of the Shopping Cart in the top right corner of every page.  You can select your currency from a drop down menu.
 
For visitors that reside in the UK or Europe, we will detect and automatically display the correct currency when you visit the site.  
 
We hope that this will make the experience a little easier for our European visitors as they should no longer have to think about currency conversion rates.
 
Please let us know if you notice any strange behavior with this new feature.

Just a few quick clarifications on Shaun's post.  
 
First, the rate at which dollars are converted into Euros or Pounds is updated once per hour. This means that approaching the end of each hour, there could be a difference of a few cents between the current exchange rate and the one that GCU is using.  
 
Second, ALL orders are still placed in dollars, and artist commissions are still issued in dollar amounts. This means that if there is a delay between the time you place your order and the time your credit card processor processes it, there may be a small discrepancy between the Euro or Pound amount quoted on the site at the time of purchase and the amount charged by your credit card company. Again, this shouldn't amount to more than a few cents per card. This also means that historical data, such as artist commission reports, order histories, etc will remain in dollars.  
 
Lastly, we are doing our best to guess where the user is based upon their IP address, and from that, checking the list of Eurozone countries and GBP countries, and switching the currency if there is a match. Thus, if you are using a proxy service outside your country, or if your IP's location is just unknown, it will default to US Dollars, and you can change it if you like.

That should be very helpful and also increase sales.    Rosie Cards
