Ah Damyon, therein lies a tale...
The little girl who lived next door to us, used to come & visit our garden pond. I told her that the fairies lived there, never thinking that she would take it too seriously.
Anyway, a couple of years later, we were having a dinner party, and it being a nice evening, we all went for a stroll around the garden.
The said little girl came running to me sooo exited, saying "Come & look, there really are fairies in your garden pond."
Intrigued, I went to see & I found that the Dragonfly larvae had crawled up some iris stems & were drying their wings in the warm evening air.
Yes, they really did look like Fairies, so Damyon...
Just believe!
