Anybody who is interested in attending the show as a artist .

You may register as an artist – log onto www.nationalstationeryshow.com, click on attendee reg, then go through the process. There is a $150 charge to attend the show.

$150.00 fee is a pretty steep fee to attend. I was just wondering if anyone has attended and was it worth the attendance fee.

Depends on what you're hoping to get out of it...it's a real eyefull of booth after booth of card designers. There are some sessions (for an extra fee) re: trends, marketing, etc.

I agree - $150 is very steep. I have attended, but was always luck enough to get in via someone's booth (I have friends who have done Surtex, which happens at the same time) or via someone's business (boutiques/gifts) - so I've never paid. It is a terrific learning experience.

Thanks everyone for the support! As a first time exhibitor, it is a bit overwhelming, Huh

but I am finally seeing my way through to feel like I might actually have fun! Cool

Things are falling into place. I will not be attending the GCU get together, but would love to meet anyone who is at the show. Visit me at my booth - 1156. I'll give you an update when I return. Roll Eyes

Rock the House Sandra! I think you will have much fun while working extremely hard while learning and teaching too. I have worked many shows in a few industries and also been the potential buyer at many shows for my stores (land kind) and on either end I walked away knowing far more than I did before. If I swing into the city I will stop in and say Hello to you in person.. I wish you much success!
