Posting adds on Squidoo lens (Read 603 times)

Mary_140624 Senior Member artist Posts: 454	Posting adds on Squidoo lens Apr 5^th, 2011, 4:29pm I have just created a Squidoo lens , and want to promote my cards on it ....How do I do this ? I would like to have the same thing as when you promote on Facebook....ie the picture of the card and the web address....I can manage the address, but not the picture ....I am a bit PC challenged , so any help would be greatfully appreciated.

Hi Mary,

It's nearly as simple.

Make sure you are logged into your GCU store. Go to your Public view of your store, choose a card and click on the $$ dollar sign.

That will bring up another window, the text in the lower half of this window is what you copy.

In Squidoo, paste this HTML code into a module that will accept HTML code, such as a Text Module.

Do be aware that GCU is not White Listed on Squidoo (yet), so you have a limit of 9 outgoings links to GCU on your Squidoo lens. That includes the HTML card coding and any other link you may have to your store which is connected to GCU.
