Product # being Reviewed
Mar 25th, 2011, 6:15am

Is there a place that shows what product # they are reviewing?
Just to give us a "ball park" idea of where our cards stand in line.

Sharon, I have never seen one.  I just figure my cards will be reviewed just after the time that I begin to wonder where they are! Smiley  My advice, though no one asked, keep smiling and creating, so you always have one in the hopper waiting to be reviewed, that way they just keep coming every day.

Hope that helps,

Bright

Some people go to the Newest Greeting cards link on the right side of the home page.
Do be aware however that there will be cards in there that were customer requested and therefore "fast-tracked" so their number will be far newer than your numbers.

The wait is about 3 weeks now (give or take) though in explicably I had 2 cards approved 2 days ago that had been submitted the same day as about 6 others (of exactly the same image, but different words on the front - Happy Easter in different languages). Still no word on those.)

I try not to think too hard about it any more.

The product numbers that you see in the new cards area are usually one to three thousand different...the readers are all working on different numbers, and they can wait for those cards that are basically all the same to come thru before they work on the series.  In other words, they wait for the whole series so that it's easier to review.   I imagine there are other considerations besides the custom and fast track cards as well.

there is supposedly a place to view what is in the queue - how many cards are pending... but I have not found it myself...

I don't bother with it any more - when they get done, they get done... I've learned to just be patient and wait and try to plan at least six months out...

Maybe - but how do they KNOW it's a series?
They certainly haven't done that with mine.

No, there is not an indicator showing what product #s (pid) are up at bat, on deck or in the hole.   As mentioned there are many reasons why cards get reviewed out of pid# sequence so tracking cards on the Newest Cards page by pid# is not accurate.

As for reviewing collections, yes  these typically get reviewed at the same time but reviewers do not "wait" for them but may step out of reviewing by pid# mode to review only the near identical collection as a group then back to pid# mode.    Hope that makes sense  Roll Eyes
