Greetings from Happyville card
Mar 24th, 2011, 5:56pm

from a shopper...

"HAPPYVILLE.  When my older brother calls he always asks how things are in happyville, since I always seem to have drama in my life, so I was just curious if there was a card with that word on it. I would love to have a card that says...Greetings from Happyville on it. Is there somebody who could do this for me?"

The shopper will find these cards here:
Collections >> Greetings from >> Other:
http://www.greetingcarduniverse.com/Collections-Greetings+from+-Other

To expedite the review of these cards please check "Fast Track Review" on the Card Image Details page when you create your card.

Wouldn't this be some sort of copyright infrigment because Happyville is a game for the PC?  ..not meaning to rain on anyone's "happy" parade   Tongue   just wondering.

You are exactly right. There is two Happyville games - http://www.arcadetown.com/happyville/game.asp?gclid=CPeh-ODv8qcCFU5a7Aod7hKqbw

http://www.bigfishgames.com/download-games/7709/happyville/index.html?channel=se m&identifier=usgooglshapvlqfu&WT.srch=1&v1=5576486662&v2=happyville&v3=b&v6=s&v7=&gclid=CJ_PiITw8qcCFaRa7AodKFWAag

There is also a Happyville play carpet - http://www.amazon.com/Learning-Carpets-Happyville-Play-Carpet/dp/B001DI02X8/ref= sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1301370377&sr=1-3-catcorr

There is also a Happyville School Picnic book - http://www.amazon.com/Happyville-school-picnic-Willis-catalog/dp/1149912138/ref= sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1301370377&sr=1-1-catcorr

There is even Happyville Blocks - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002G9387U?ie=UTF8&tag=googhydr-20&hvad id=4028073505&ref=pd_sl_52y4ngbxzm_e

Maybe Mindy should check into this one more. It just might be copyrighted. We wouldn't want to get into any trouble. There is just too many Happyville products out there.  undecided

With so many "Happyville's" it appears no one has corned the name or term "Happyville" to be off limits.  So as long as you stay away from looking like a look alike (graphics, font, colors, logo, etc.) as do not include any misleading terms that relate to the other products (video game, arcade, blocks, etc.) you should be fine.

So your creative should not have the look or feel of any of these other products that would be a source of confusion and infringement.

Sound good? Smiley
