I went out, but we live in a sub, so not too many good shots, even after it rose above the houses!  Sad

Too cloudy here, can't even see the moon, but this overcast day made for some perfect pictures of spring flowers, guess it is a trade off. Cool

Problem with living in suburbs is too much light pollution from street lights and houses etc. to ruin the shots.

Moon looked pretty incredible from here in the sticks on the coast of Maine (there aren't even any traffic lights for miles)  I've never seen such detail in the moon just looking at it through my old Bean binoculars, but I don't have the photography expertise to have captured it. Had my silly Jack Russell running round in circles and howling though - goofy dog!   Wink

I'm in Santee (San Diego, for out-of-towners) but even with the street lights and clouds, I got some good shots.  FUN!

Great shot Peggy I got the same shot except with quite a bit more 'soft focus' Wink Wink

I am happy with my attempts, but I think I do better with my flowers Cheesy. Nonetheless, I hope to get them on some cards soon.
Sorry the weather did not co-operate for some of you folks  cry
'e' your description conjured up a very funny vision of your moon watching! Grin

It is so odd...We moved last August only 8-miles up the road and yes from 2800 feet to 3200 feet.  We used to get snow a few times, but only a couple inches and it never lasted more than 24-hours (except once in the 15-years we lived there).  This winter in our new home, we've had major snow fall 3 times.  The first time we had about 8-inches, but it dropped to the 20's and turned to ice which hung around for 2-weeks.  Then we had 2-1/2 feet a month ago which was accompanied by 48-hours without power.  Here we are again with a foot of snow and still snowing  Grin

We expected to have more occasions where it would snow, but this is still a very unusual winter for the area...at least I think it is  Grin

beautiful picture, Peggy...

but to be honest... I was disappointed - I thought I'd see something really impressive and the moon looked no different to me, even through my binoculars... I was going to try some photography but decided against it... maybe it was the light pollution, maybe it was something else... but man, it just looked like any other full moon to me... bummer...
