Anyone use Google Product Search?

Every now and then I submit my web, blogs an POD urls to Google to help the gogglebots find me.

Just submitted my URLS and noticed Google has something called Google Product Search. Has anyone tried/used this feature? And if so what was your experience? Just Curious.

I clicked on it to sign on and there was all this legalese and terms -made me hesitant to get too involved and clicked off and didn't have the brain or time to understand it just then... On the surface it sounds good -you can submit you individual product to Google to be searchable etc.

I do this URL submission every 6 to 8 weeks and in addition to Google, I submit to nearly 150 search engines world wide. Makes a huge difference.

I did try the Google Product Search, though I haven't really seen any benefit considering the diversity of my products. I think it might be great for someone who offers a single type of product.

After reading this post, I went to google and tried to add products to my marketplace. I was having problems so I email Google.

According to their reply, if you use a marketplace but your website is not individual, you can't add products. That is because the marketplace, ie:GCU, ia responsible for submitting individual products for all their sellers and they most likely use a feed to do so. To avoid duplicates, you can submit your site to google, but not individual products.

Hopefully GCU is doing this.
