Why a new card  is one thousand above mine
Mar 4th, 2011, 8:13pm

Dear GCU Support Team,  Smiley

I would appreciate some clarity why a card submitted almost one thousand cards after mine was already approved while mine are still waiting to be approved.

A new card published today March 4 2011 has the #783448 and I have 43 cards from  #774288  to #783217 and they are still waiting in queue to be approved

What's the reason?

Thank you very much,
Leonilde

Hi Leonilde,

To me it looks like it was a fast tracked card for the wanted card request for the female soldier. I see others  there too.

Dear Pamela and Doreen,  Smiley
Thank you very much for your engagement in the dialogue. Indeed, I only looked at the number and wanted a clarification that still stands, I think, unless all of them are of fast track. Where can you see that, by the way?

I’ve just picked another two randomly from page 5, # 776282 and page 6, # 775526,
which are still above my #774288. So, many more must back up my question.

It must be some logic explanation for this to occur and I would like to now the internal mechanism for this logic. Hopefully the support team comes with it.
Leonilde

I can't find it now, but Mindy did explain in a previous thread why there are these inconsistencies in numbering.  Another reason that may or may not have been mentioned is folks bypassing review for their private gallery so they can access right away to purchase - these cards are assigned numbers - and the same artist may submit all the same cards for review for public sale and delete the private gallery cards when the public ones are approved.  --doubling the number of numbers Huh Maybe?

Thank you, Esnestine and Lavinia Smiley
for entering in the discussion about this issue.

In face of no clear explanation, I assume, it is too complicated to be explained.

I thank everybody who tried to make a sense out of it.
