Traditionally painted Easter cards wanted for blog

I'm planning a blog post of Easter Cards from GCU artists a month before Easter, ie Thursday 24th March, so if you use traditional painting/drawing methods for your card designs (ie not digital or photography), please post the links in this thread.

Please read these instructions carefully and ask if you have any queries:

1. Post your links as soon as possible but no later than 22nd March.

2. Just post the links - open up the card you want to submit as if you were a buyer and copy and paste the address in the browser bar at the top of the page.

It should look something like this:

3. You may post up to 3 designs this time!

4. Please do not leave me to choose the designs!

5. When you post your links, please add the medium you used and your name (whatever you wish to be known by on my blog)

6. Once the post is published in 3 weeks' time, please tweet it or add it to your facebook page for extra exposure for all the artists taking part.

I will be tweeting the post periodically and adding it to both my facebook pages. It will also be linked to my second blog so it will get plenty of exposure and hopefully bring in some sales.

Hi Judy - Thanks for the opportunity.
Just now I only have one actual Easter Card in my shop - long story...but hopefully the ones I THOUGHT I submitted will be available soon. (I spell DUH, S-U-E.)

Everything thing is hand drawn/painted with watercolor & colored pencil. (The only thing computer generated is the gingham check - done to fill out the size/proportion differential from the original intent.)

All of the designs so far as lovely! Sue, I'll look forward to your other two if they get reveiwed in time! And Marion, I'm interested to see that you use oil pastels. I love using them too for some subjects but my studio gets very hot in the summer and they turn just a bit too squidgy in the heat! Grin

When I clicked on the links some of your cards that came up at the side were really funny! I liked the one about the baby oil!

And thank you, too, Carole. I know you are fed up with learning new things but that one wasn't too hard was it! Grin

I think I'll have to find some hutches for all these gorgeous bunnies

I had a look at your store and your watercolours are beautiful! And what a good idea to suggest them as prints to frame. Maybe I could do that with some of my soft pastel paintings?
