Judy,

Thank you for this lovely opportunity. Your information on how to post was very helpful to someone who hasn't done it before. Hope I did it right.

The following are my three Easter card submissions:

Thank you very much for these Audrey - they are lovely!

As for my instructions - I wasn't a primary school teacher, mostly teaching 'slow learners', for years for nothing!!!  Grin

Hi Judy,
Thank you so much for this wonderful initiative of yours.  It's a great opportunity to be exposed and it is also a nice way to feed a community.
Here are three designs of mine. They all are based on my original acrylic paintings on canvas.

#1 is a landscape of the big outdoors with a pine forest and a meandering river valley
#2 is a still nature with lemons and a yellow vase with violet, purple, and yellow flowers.
#3 is a rising sun under green (representing the earth) and blue (representing the sky) stripes.
To all I added eggs to give them a Easter flavor

If you choose any of them you can announce it under my brand name <Artcor7>
Thanks again for your opportunity and generosity.

Hi Judy

Somehow I missed this. It's so great of you to give this opportunity. Thank you!

It's also made me realise how few Easter cards I have in my store - however, I offer you this one:

It's watercolour.

All the best

Hi Judy-I hope I'm not too late with these. I had another that I was waiting for approval on that hasn't cleared yet, but I really appreciate the chance to have these two posted. Thank you so much for helping us all out. kiss Grin

Hi Susan and Cindy

Thank you and no, you're not too late - I'm planning to publish the post this Thursday (24th). I'm sorry I didn't see your posts sooner. I don't always seem to get an email notification - sometimes I do and sometimes I don't! - and I'd been busy and hadn't checked.

The post with all your beautiful cards is now published on my blog:  Smiley

http://judyadamsonartanddesign.blogspot.com/2011/03/traditionally-painted-easter -cards-from.html

I've also tweeted it and am about to put the link on my facebook page and on my second blog. So if all of you artists do the same, as far as you are able, we should get plenty of coverage for our Easter cards.

And if you haven't yet 'followed' my blog, now is the time and your comments on any of the blogposts are always welcome!  Grin

(If you are one of the artists who didn't get all their cards posted, it's likely to be either because there were technical difficulties with getting the link, or because the 'digital' element was too dominant. Sometimes a digitally added border is OK but I don't consider the use of a Wacom tablet a 'traditional' method and that's what the blog post is all about.)

Hi judy-Just visited the blog and you did a great job as usual. No problem about not including the wacom produced card of mine. Smiley I appreciate having the one there! Grin I commented and tweeted you and I'm going back to see what else I can do to help. Congratulations to all the artists and their very beautiful designs. Thanks again, cat kiss

Hi Cat - thank you very much for all your tweeting and commenting! It should all help and with things being a bit quiet on the sales front for most of us at the moment, we need all the help we can get!  Wink

I thought a long time about whether to include your 'handpainted with a wacom tablet' card but I had to draw the line somewhere and that seemed to be it! I've just tweeted your Easter haiku card and am gradually individually tweeting all the cards in the blog post. I'm so pleased we now have the tweet buttons on GCU!  Smiley

Thank you all so much for your contributions to my blog post!

The next topic will be New Baby cards, announcements, congratulations, invitations...whatever!

So get painting, bearing in mind that the review time is so long at the moment, and I'll announce a closing date shortly so keep watching out for it!

Thanks for the tweet Judy. I'm not great with the whole networking thing (I find it very confusing!) so I'm very grateful for any help I can get! Some day I hope to figure it all out and maybe even have my own blog!  Grin Grin
