I have two questions??
Feb 27^th, 2011, 8:32pm

I am trying to change the back of my card's picture to a logo and it shows that it has changed, but when I look at the back of my cards it's still the same. What am I doing wrong?

Also, I created 6 cards last night and was wondering, when did they do away with the spell-checker when creating your card's text? I was one of the ones who used that feature so it caught me off guard.

Also, I am fixing to hit my 100 card mark when they approve these cards. If they approve them all I will have exactly 105. Yeah!!!!!!!! Grin

It's a long way from 1000 but I will get there. Thanks to anyone who answers my questions.

It usually takes up to 24-hours depending on when the server will run updates. I would suggest that if by 24-hours your changes have not taken place you ask Shaun to take a look for you. Occasionally, the BOC picture change can be a stubborn beast

Hello,

I think you've had the question about the changes not showing answered as those changes can take up to 24 hours sometimes. You'll notice that especially when you rearrange your galleries, bringing seasonal items forward and adding items to your featured gallery.

As for spell checker for the inside text, it is still there. I think it is at the top of the screen above the editing box when you are in edit mode.

And lastly, congratulations!!! !00 cards is a great milestone and we're looking forward to your next 100 and more!

I just checked again and I am telling you, "The spell-checker is not there when I am editing or creating the text for my cards."

Is anyone seeing it? Have you checked? I can't find it. Has it moved? I know I'm not crazy, or I hope not. undecided

As far as the back of the card picture change, it has almost been 24 hours and still no change. The only thing I did was change my store colors and logo. I didn't do anything with the cards or featured cards. I did create the six up for review, that's all.

Maybe it will be there in a little while. I did just see my profile picture on this forum post change to my new logo picture. So maybe I do need to just give that a little more time.

I still wonder what's up with the spell-checker thingy though. Huh

Just went in and edited a card. When you click on edit inside text, it'll bring up an editing box where your message is. Above the text box is a check spelling link spelled out in light blue. Check again and you'll see it.
Actually, let me walk you through it with GCU terms. You'll click on Edit Inside message which will bring up a window with the inside of the card. Click on the editable area of the card and it will bring up your editing window with a message box at the top of the page, your scripts, font selection, color and what have you below. Just above the message box is a caption in black which says, "Message Text" and just under that in light blue it says, "Click Here to Check Spelling."

I did exactly what you said and it's not there on mine. It just says, "Bottom Message" in light blue, "Message Text" in black, then my card's text. There is no "Click Here to Check Spelling" anywhere. Sad

Hi Rebecca

Firstly, congratulations on reaching your first 100 cards, I love the cards you have so far so wish you the best of luck, looking forward to seeing more!

As for the other problems, I don`t know what browser or oprating system you have, but when I experienced similar problems that drove me nutty for a while, I was advised by a friend to try refreshing my screen which ckears stubborn cookies, if that doesn`t work try putting your browser in "Compatibility mode" if you have that option. That worked for me. hope it helps!

Shaun...Spell Checker Glitch?

Well Rebecca, I use the latest version of Firefox and also do not see the spell checker..

HOWEVER...it does still work by underlining any misspelled words. I checked that after following this thread this morning. I typed in an incorrect spelling and it was underlined in red.

I suggest this gets looked into by Shaun since I do think it's a glitch.

Yes, I'm sorry Rebbecca. Thought you were just missing it up there at the top. Must be the browser then. Doreen is really computer savvy so if she's not seeing it either, it's probably not there. I'm using Windows Explorer and seem to be running the app fine. A note in to Shaun at support to check it out is a good idea as you should have a spell checker in that window.

It has been over 24 hours. Anyone know how to fix this? As far as the spell-checker not showing up, I am using Google Chrome and still no spell-checker today either.
