My first sale (Read 1093 times)

Kambiz_145312 GCU Newbies artist Posts: 13	My first sale Jan 2^nd, 2011, 11:34pm Hello, Today I made my first sale on GCU . I became very happy because I was thinking my cards are not good enough. Honestly I still have that feeling about my cards. I use my photographs to create cards and I am not sure people will like them.

Congratulations! Well first of all - nothing wrong with your cards, some unique designs and the store is very professional looking.
All I can say is time and promotion!
It takes a while for your keywords, title and descriptions to catch up in the meta tags for the search engines. Also your sales will increase as you promote yourself more.
Use the forum and watch for tips from some of the seasoned sellers. You'll learn so much in regard to promoting yourself.

I agree with Randall, your cards are just fine, you have a unique photography style that's clean and appealing. You'll make plenty of sales with a little bit of promoting work. Make sure all your friends and family know about your cards. My first few sales were to friends and then friends of friends.

Next, just hang in there and keep designing. Your cards are very nice and I think will do well once people find them. I especially like your use of vivid color -- so beautiful!
