Orb / Babuble Tutorial
Nov 20th, 2010, 9:07am

Ok I know loads of you are going to be there going  Roll Eyes yeye we know,
well not all do, so I threw and I mean threw together a little tutorial,
now if you like it, I can do it nice and tidy, but not going to sit here
for ours on end if it's not needed  Grin I have cards in the pipeline to
jam everyone up, anyhoooo Wink

Its a begginers tut, so yes those who know photoshop and yes
its only for photoshop I am doing it and anyway I think its most
paint programs it will work with...

I am not appologising for my spelling either  Grin we know im
C*ap at it so there we go.

For the beginner let me know if you want a tidy version, or
you find it usefull and or would like me to do the solid
Christmas Decoration (without the silly hanger bit that winds me up)

Cheesy

Hugs Moonoe

GUESS it helps if I manage to actually link the thing lol

I find tutorials to be a great way to learn new techniques. I use Paint Shop Pro, but many photoshop tutorials can be used for paint shop pro.

Your tutorial is beautiful and well written. I do intend to try it out. Making see through objects is difficult and making shiny glass objects is difficult as well.

Thanks

Yes they can be a bit argg, I will in a few days do the solid
it's fantastic when used by photographers, especially if you
re jigg the same process and use it as a droplet with a sep
pic inside.

Oh my Gooooodnessss Tanya....thanks for the easy tutorial! I'm always in for the "easy" way to do things. I use the marquee tool for many "cheater" things, so I'll add this neat idea to my list.

Since I upgraded to Mac OS 10, my copy of PhotoShop won't work, so I'm using PS Elements until I can afford the new CS.

Thanks again for the great info,
elizabeth

Tanya,

Excellent tutorial -- easy to follow and understand.   I, for one, will appreciate any tutorial you care to share.   Thanks for taking the time to do this.

Taking the time to present this tutorial is so thoughtful.  I do "baubles" and "orbs" very differently in PS, yet 'tis great to have other methods to play around with and combine!!

Moonie.....I love the tutorial. kiss Thank you.
I have taught myself photoshop through trial and error, have learned a few tricks and ALWAYS love to learn new ones Thought about taking a course but with limited time I just go where the creative mood takes me and see what new things come of it.

Then I read tutorials like yours and I realize that whilst I can achieve many different effects nowadays, what takes me 15 different layers and moves can often be acheived in 3 easy steps Grin Grin Grin
Knowledge is a beautiful thing Smiley thanks for sharing

Thanks all Smiley I was a little nervous posting that,
Like I said though this is a small tutorial, there
are lots and lots of ways of making a bauble,
but I went for speed rather than technical stuff,
It will probably progress Smiley

Huge thank you hugs
Moonie
