Promo Banners - 1 Year Later
Nov 12th, 2010, 7:22pm

Hi Miles and GCU Folks,

As I diligently work on updating my sites and promoting my work...adding great banners with referral links from Zazzle and so on -

I am reminded of this suggestion I made in 2009 and just wanted to surface it once again Smiley  I truly hope you will consider this for all of us who are working so hard to bring more customers to GCU.  It is time-consuming and frustrating to not be able to easily swap GCU promos out on my sites.

Hi Doreen, this is definitely still on our list  Cheesy.  Unfortunately I'm not sure when this will be added to the site though.

If we were to create seasonal or promotional GCU banners for you to post on your blogs/sites, would it be a problem if the cards featured in the banners were not you own?  For example, a banner promoting Christmas cards might feature 3 thumbnail images of cards by 3 different artists.

Good morning Shaun,

Glad to hear its on the list still  Wink

Oh no, it would not matter to me at all who's cards were on the banner.  This is to promote GCU with an affiliate or referral code which gets us rewards for bringing in new customers.  It would be very cool if the link went to our stores, but that is also not necessary and perhaps difficult to do.

I just want to be able to advertise the promos that GCU has and receive the referral if I bring in new customers.  If it's my cards I sell, then that is just icing on the cake  Grin
