I decided to create a range of Scottish Christmas cards with different tartans on, I started with my family tartan the McLean one.

I put Merry Christmas in Gaellic in the card and submitted it with the categories, Poinsettia and Scottish under Xmas cards.
 
I had it returned saying they had changed the category to Xmas cards - non English.  So I said I didn't want that I wanted as Scottish so I changed the words on the inside to English.
 
I've had it returned again as "Nothing in this card speaks to Holidays » Christmas » By Region / State / Country » Scotland. This category is reserved for cards that have an image of Scotland or reference Scotland in the text. "
 
Are there any other scots on here who can back me up on this one, it's a Scottish tartan.
 
Gillean - unfortunately not the original one who founded the McLean clan but I am feeling a bit like a battle axe tonight!

I just had a Christmas card approved that has a tartan, clan name (and clan seal) on it.

 I put it under Christmas name specific - M.  But I can see perhaps an area (category) for "tartan" cards or something like that being put in.
