way to send personal thank you from artist?

Hi all

I had a thought... since the artists here are not given information on who the actual buyers are, is there a way to add a feature to our stores or set it up in another way that allows individual artists to send a note to a buyer to thank them for their purchase? I recently had my first big order of 30 cards made for Labor Day and I'd love the chance to thank this person myself, however I cannot. In thinking of how important that little extra something is, I think it's a nice way for the artists to develop a good rapport with buyers of their cards.

I just like the idea of a more personal touch between artist and buyer.. just a thought...

Hi, Donna,

I understand your point and it's a valid one, but, the majority of our customers do not realize that GCU is comprised of independent, individual artists. They buy cards from GCU.

I don't know if you've purchased cards here, but, when a person makes a purchase, he/she does receive an email thank you.

I think that it might start to get quite confusing for customers if they started getting email thank you notes from random artists, as in the case that they buy 200 cards from 167 different artists...or something like that.

Just my thoughts.

Some bulk orders are comprised of a lot of different cards form several artists. If they all thanked them their email box would overflow! Blessings~ Audrey

I don't know if this is even doing any good, but on the sale from any of the GCU sites it has the state. So I am putting on FaceBook, 'thank you nice customer from Arizona etc.' My wife says everyone is on Facebook. :-D. Even if it doesn't reach the person it makes me feel better that I have tryed to show my appreciation.
