Links in bulletin?
Sep 27th, 2010, 12:09pm

Is there a way to put a hot link in the bulletin box? So far it has only come out as text and not a link.

Hey Damian,

This is the code for a hot link. <a href="url">Link text</a>. Here's a site for future reference http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_links.asp. Hope that  helps.

Karen is correct, you'll need to use the HTML code above to create a working link.

Judith,

A Hot Link is simply Linked Text that is "live", in other words you click on something and it takes you to that site. The code can be used in most areas that accept HTML code.

Doreen.. Could you write out that link breakdown again only with spaces in between so I can read it in real use terms please?   So if I took away the spaces it would really link me..   If you could I would be grateful..  Smiley

Hi Lj,

Karen was kind enough to leave a link to a site that actually has the code and the example.  Look at the example which is the code 'in use', then look at how it reads out right below it.

Unfortunately, this forum does not allow all forms of HTML and this code would be a Hot Link if in my store, but as you can see, it isn't here.
