Probably ask before but...  I really truly need to have    "arrange gallery"  sections  so i can more easily locate a group to place new cards into or remove....  it's just so much work to do the way it currently is.  Sorry but i have lots of cards.

Please!!

Thank you,

I AGREE Sally!! PLEASE guys, I only have 1300 or so cards and its a PAIN IN THE... to do anything.  Why or why can't we have sections to arrange our cards in our own groups and have a nicer store front?

Fourthies on that!  People can click on the categories and it will bring up all the cards in that category, but still, it would really helpful to be able to break our stores up into categories ourselves for ease of organizing and for the person who isn't really there specifically shopping, but might see a series or certain style card they like and possibly spend more time which might equate to a sale.

The argument that we already have categories based on the keywords and category choices in the sidebar are somewhat understandable, but if we have that and want to personalize our store to our design, that makes perfect sense.  We are not robots able to work with the same cookie cutter and each person has their unique style of organizing which works best for them individually.  personally I like to group by subject, my florals, my car related, my animals and so forth.  That's how I organize my photos on the computer and how I'd like to arrange my store.  That way when  I upload new designs, I can move them around and arrange them much quicker.  If the current system is a pain for me with only two hundred something cards, I can imagine those who have a lot more.

Hopefully, it's workable without a lot of programming issues and something the GCU support team will consider.

We have considered and it is on the wish list, just not very close to the top, sorry  undecided  We've discussed the concept of sub-galleries which artists could name as well as one for New Cards.

Mindy,

Would it be possible to post the items on the Wish List that are 'for the artists' to give us the opportunity to prioritize them?  When you have a store with thousands of cards and an EXTREMELY clumsy and almost useless way to organize them, I'd bet the artists on this site would bump that up on the list of artist features.

I would think artists priorities and GCU priorities may not be listed with the same priority.  Huh(Sorry for the tongue twister)  embarrassed

So it would probably still remain as two separate priority lists.  Cheesy

That's what I meant, the items on the Wish List that have been requested by us artists, could we have that list posted and maybe figure out a way for us to 'vote' on the order they are pursued...if ever  Grin
