How are cards packaged  when mailed

How are cards packaged  when mailed?

What are the various shipping packaging options?

When you send a card to someone is it placed in its envelope and mailed?
Does it include packing slip for order?

I ordered 5 cards sent to me and cards came in a nice plastic pouched, inside of  a card  mailer
I ordered 12 cards and it came in a box with no plastic pouch.
When are cards sent in the pouch?

Hi David,

Both orders you placed should have included the plastic sleeve, however it's something that we just started including recently so that may be why you didn't receive it.

Orders with less than 8 cards are shipped in a hard sleeve

Orders of 8 cards or more are shipped in a box

If a card is shipped directly to a recipient we just send the card in an addressed envelope,  the same envelope as the blank ones you receive with your order when you send cards to yourself.

Thank you
Thats great news. I love the pouches
I wish we could buy them from GCU
Are they available ?

I try to keep samples of the fantastic printed GCU cards
but they look the best when not touched to much

After many touches the cards get finger prints
Be nice if there was a optional bag that could be purchased and included with each card

Hi David,
Nothing we would make available for sale.  These are packing products used by our printing partner.

The topic has come up before by other artists wanting this kind of protective sleeve for their reselling & display efforts.  Here is one such posting:

Hi David,

Yes, http://www.clearbags.com is the best source.  I have used them for so many years I can't count.  They were a little place in my neck of woods called Impact Images and because I had a resale number (California) I would go to their warehouse and it was wonderful.  Now so much bigger (though still local), they are still the  best price for the variety and quality of bags.

I used them for cards and prints when I owned a gallery and sold my work at outdoor art shows.  Great product.  The plastic boxes are also wonderful to create boxed card sets and sell those Smiley

Thanks Doreen
Do you happen to know the correct size & model  to fit GCU card and envelope?
