We discovered an interesting thing that shows advantages of buying your own cards.
We recently added some cards and wanted to see how they printed, so we bought the cards.
 
 When  viewing our cards through links, We saw the cards being shown first  because of the fact they had sold.  It made us realize that it helps in many ways to purchase cards.  
 
After looking at the printed cards we made improvements to fit better on several of the designs
 
I wish there was a discount price to purchase 1 sample card of each design just so artist can verify they are as good as intended.  Because of the cost of purchasing every card, we have avoided doing this in the past.  
 
When we feel and see GCU brilliant rich printed cards ,  
we feel inspired to create even better cards to use their backboard .

I am aware of the normal artist discount price on every card purchased by artist .
 
 but at that rate its costly to print every single card.
I suspect at least 90 % of cards do not sell and its costly to purchase every card, when many never sell.
 
We have thousands of designs and while i wish i could purchase every art item everywhere we sell,
It would cost a lot of money and i have nowhere to store thousands of  boxes of art samples.
 
So we and most short cut and don't purchase all of their cards, but sometimes cards and sales suffer
