Yesterday I had a number of my pending cards approved and one with a note.  Being a newbie, I can only guess it was from the reviewer - complimenting the fractal image I used on the card!  
 
Just wanted to thank whoever the reviewer was, I'm pleased you appreciate my work.  Also, want to extend my thanks to all the reviewers, I think it's a bit of a thankless job with an amazing volume of cards to review and I know you guys get a lot of comments in the forums about how long it takes.  Not sucking up here, just appreciating the hard work that goes into the site!!
