To make sure I got everything right on a year specific anniversary card set I submitted two cards first. They were approved so I submitted a whole bunch more. But these ones got sent back with a message saying that there might not be enough space around the image so I should resubmit...It's so frustrating!  cry

Do you think that I should take the two that were approved out of my shop because they have the same layout?

Hello Zoe,

Well you do have a few cards in your store that have important image and/or text too close to the edge.  Read the Wiki, use the template, or make sure your cards have at minimum a 1/4-inch clearance around all for sides.

The good news is, no you do not have to remove any of those cards.  Just tuck all your elements in with a nice 1/4-inch clearance.  Upload the new image, then go open that card in your management screen and under the existing card image you'll see a Change Image, click on that and choose the improved image, re-save and you're done.

Your cards are so wonderful, it would be a shame to have anything cut off.

Good luck!

I've been having this happen too, and while I think the reviewer is well intentioned, it can get out of hand. I have lots of cards that I take care not to have anything important cropped off, and I have some where it doesn't matter if a litle around the edges gets snipped, and I design accordingly. So to have a reviewer kick it back to me...well, I try to take it nicely.

The part that REALLY bugged me, though, was the reviewer telling me that the card didn't sufficiently pertain to the holiday I was associating it with! That sort of conclusion seems awfully subjective to me.

Thanks Doreen! That's the advice I needed! I've set all the cards in doubt to private and will change them when I get a spare moment.

Thanks Tom! It's nice to know it's not just me! I so wish I had been told right from the beginning, but to be fair I didn't use a template...sigh  undecided

Lol I also have no idea how my thread got posted 3 times...so much to learn!!  Grin

Hi Zoe!

I hate to burst your bubble, but I think by changing them to Private will cause you to recreate all the cards and go through approval again.  The private gallery option does not allow you to move cards back and forth.  It is intended for use when you create a card for yourself or a custom request that would normally not be found in the storefront.

Once you get the images on those cards fixed, see if you can get Mindy's help to move them back to your storefront.  I'm not sure she can do that, but its worth asking.  I'm so sorry to have to tell you that, but I didn't suggest you make them private  cry

Oh Doreen, I see that now! I just wanted to make sure nobody could purchase them as half my designs clearly wouldn't have worked to my satisfaction. I am not sure I have the energy to carry on!! Thanks for you advice anyway! Much appreciated  Smiley
