Reviewer Continuity
Jun 23rd, 2010, 1:01pm

To make sure I got everything right on a year specific anniversary card set I submitted two cards first. They were approved so I submitted a whole bunch more. But these ones got sent back with a message saying that there might not be enough space around the image so I should resubmit...It's so frustrating!  cry

Do you think that I should take the two that were approved out of my shop because they have the same layout?

This has happen to me a few times and I gulped and moaned until I learned and was finally glad reviewers discovered what could be a problem latter. Perhaps it might work-perhaps it would not is not worth the risk of failure.

I suggest you fix all your cards that might be at risk and thank the reviewers for helping you remember next time, because you will not forget again what are rules of printing

I found its better to appreciate and learn from reviewers knowledge and experience-
because they know more about cards, categories and wording than i currently do.

I welcome comments, suggestions , input from their experienced eyes and i bubble whenever i learn a trick from them. With their help we all get better cards and GCU draws more buyers

Well said David, the reviewers are only doing their job, and you can bet someone in administration is training them.  Administration knows what sells and prints well.  I still have some cards sent back, sometimes we all miss something.....if the reviewer is too easy on us our cards won't sell.   So, three cheers for the reviewers.      Rosie Cards

Hi Zoe

It may sound obvious but are you using the templates? they have quite a large border area and anything important should be within them or you risk getting it cut off.

Nice to see another Brit, love your work.

Thanks guy! It's all good advice, and encouragement Smiley  I just wish I had found out sooner! It's my own fault... Because my designs have worked elsewhere I kind of took it for granted they would work here too...guess it's time to download a template!

Lol I also have no idea how my thread got posted 3 times...so much to learn!!  Grin
