Store question for Shaun
May 3rd, 2010, 9:19pm

Shaun is there any way to change the white background  page color to match the color that we pick for our modules?  I know this is a picky question, and as long as I had white I didn't notice.  But now that I have changed to a dark color, the uneven line-up of modules and the white spaces really pop out.

Yes, try the Page Background setting under:
Look & Design >> Store Colors under the Background Tab

That is the first thing I tryed Mindy.  The problem seems to be the programing of the modules.  They use to butt.  Now there is a variance in the sizes that is leaving cracks of the general programing background showing through?

You have the option to change the background color of the modules, which it looks like you've done.  However the overall background of the page will remain white, and this can't be changed.

I was afraid of that Shaun can the size of the modules [background] be changed?  Right now they do not butte.  The top horizontal of the modules on the right facing do not line up with the left and the vertical side edges are even worse.  I'm on explorer, I just checked foxfire the horizontals line up but the vertical side edges are even worse than on explorer.  It seems the sizing of the modules themselves are out of wack.

Norval,

All our stores look that way and though as someone who likes perfection, I agree it would be ducky to have them line up properly, but I doubt very many people have ever noticed  Grin

Your store looks great!

:-D,  Doreen I put in my first post it was a picky question.  And I know no-one probably notices [or do they?].  I'm going to give an example from when I was a lettering artist.  In pasting up type or hand-lettering we were allowed no more than 2000 of an inch up or down from the horizontal.  That was the hardest part of our eye training.  Mr Hall said the customer may not know what makes him feel uneasy but that slight uneasyness could cost the company a sale.  That's when the most sold card was $.25 and the real top of the line was a $1.00.  :-D

Just a thought! Try making your borders thicker...it may help a bit!

Cherie

NOPE, guess not...they can get thicker, but it doesn't expand them, just makes them thicker inside the modules...

Hi Norval,

You have probably tried everything at this point  Cool but have you tried setting your Module border size to zero or 1?

Shaun, from left to right what is the pixiel width of the two page modules, including the white space, together?
