The link provided is a category link. So if your card is there the shopper will see it. If not and you think it is fitting for this request let us know the pid# and we'll add or move to the category if appropriate.

Hi Linda,
My suggestion would be two fold. Either design a spot in your design for a logo like we do for photo card "your logo here" and/or include in your Artist Notes something like "If you'd like to add your company logo on this design please contact me"...

Yes...clever card however mum's the word on VW's as they're off limits yet the review team felt the bumps in your image were subtle enough to be any other small, round roofed vehicle.

We submitted 2 cards for this purpose that were rejected because reviewer said

"cards that contain references to or images of vehicles cannot be sold on GCUniverse. This includes the manufacturer`s ``trade dress`` rights which bars the use of any silhouette, picture, caricature, or reproduction of the shape or appearance of the manufacturer`s vehicle. "

If you search GCU for "cars", you see many card images of vehicles on GCUniverse that contradict this rule and are clearly images of vehicles .

There is surely a fine line i don't yet understand
We created a new design with a auto repair truck Card # 611665
We created a image of a pickup truck(not a real model ). Is it prohibited ?
we designed and created it as part of a picture and truck was not made by a manufacturer.

I found below GCU tips, and answered my questions

Automotive/Car Rules - GCU will approve images of cars/vehicles where the make/model is indistinguishable. No branding elements should be in the image nor in any of the text (title, keywords, verse, notes, etc.). This includes car likenesses in both photographic and artistic renditions.
Private Cards with a Car - GCU will approve images of cars for Private galleries under the following circumstances:
The artist feels they have the rights to use the image for resale
NO Volkswagens will be allowed even in private stores
No branding, make/model manufacturer’s names should be used which includes keywords, titles and the like
The card remains Private
GENERAL - Car image cards must be abstract or partial in nature so even the defining body lines and profile can not be identified. This is due to “Trade Dress” laws. Antique/Vintage cars of the 20’s and 30’s will be considered with a softer eye ie: Model-T but still must not contain any logs, emblems, make & model names.
