Yes, Denise.  If I am going to post a card, and this one doesn't potentially lead to a seller's commission, then, I could share a sale with the real card link on Facebook instead, and the share on FB link only will serve as a reminder.  I wonder what Shaun has in mind for this?

Thanks, Sandra!

That's pretty much what I was thinking, too.  Smiley

Good question that you and Denise have about whether or not the links create a seller's commission.  I'll wait for the answer with interest.

Penny & All

Just thought I'd post this for grins...don't know if it is pure coincidence or a result from using the new posting tool  I sold a Congratulations to Daughter and Her Husband card this morning, posted the sale on FB and then sold the same card again this afternoon.  Now, I mention this because this is not your 'every day' card that sells...so it might be a result of posting the sale.  My plan is to continue this fairly regularly to see if it does result in sales. I know for those of us who make several sales a day it may be boring to our connections, but then again, maybe they will go buy more cards  Grin

At the moment you are not getting seller's credit when using this button, but it's something that I can inquire about.

it seems like it should be like the other referral links... i think i will do what sandra i  think said and post the stc link...to show the sold card, then it becomes another portal back with the info needed to be a referral.

It would be nice to have this for each card sold in the order.  Right now it is only for the last card listed in the order - but it does work!   Smiley

ALSO - to get the thumbnail to show I had to cycle through the various images associated with the card's page to find the thumbnail one before posting on FB.  It would be nice to not have to do that.

I wasn't able to get thumbnails to preview prior to posting into facebook or after posting but the link works nicely and I like that we can do a GCU blurb to accompany the postings. I expect the next posting will show thumbnails so thank you GCU for yet another means we have of promotion. Thanks Shaun for looking into sale's commission credited to link. All good, Lisa

Good ideas and suggestions.  Smiley

I've only had my FB account for about a month, so I'm pretty new there.  I like the idea of using the $ link for the cards.  I'm not sure how often I'll post.  Doreen's point is a good one.  I don't want people thinking that all I'll ever post are card sales.  Smiley

Happy Saturday, if it's Saturday where you are!

Yay! I got to use it on my sale from GCU but not from my sale at BigDates!

I just used the FB link on that individual card...but thanks! Great idea!

Hi!  I just found this thread today.  So I tried the new tool to post our sales on Facebook.  Worked like a charm once, but not the other two times.  One of them, I tried 5 or 6 times and it finally worked.
Wonder why the varriance...  But a great tool.  Thanks, GCU.

I think this has something to do with Facebook crawling the page for images.  If the thumbnails don't come up, you may need to try again after a few hours and it should work.

In the future we'll likely add a button for every card contained in the email

We have no control over the order in which images are displayed, that's FB.
