Here's a tip for PayPal users:

If the email is legitimately from PayPal, it will be ALWAYS addressed to whatever name the account is under, never "dear member" or "PayPal member" or "account holder.' PayPal will also NEVER ask you for your password. So good rule of thumb: if the email it isn't addressed to the account holder's name, it's a phishing email, and should be deleted immediately.

Many big companies especially banks will have an email address that you can forward any spoof, spam or phishing emails to, or use the site that Joan has told us about. Wink As Corrie as pointed out, emails from legitimate companies, they already know your name and password. The sad part is that people are still falling for these emails other wise we would not be getting them. Sad

Just to reiterate: of course, for self-protection, immediate deletion of phishing and otherwise suspicious e-mails is the course to follow. However, forwarding them to spoof@millersmiles.co.uk with the method described below (links are inactive in the text) contributes to the research, notification, prosecution, etc., of illegal practices, so if you can do what they're asking, you're aiding the cause and helping to protect us all.
