Approving Cards

embarrassedI just put a Mother's Day Card Up and a Father's Day Card Up. I just hope it doesn't take two weeks to get them approved! It would be greatly appreciated if they get put up sooner then that. Thank you!

I think it would be nice to have community review of submitted cards--crowdsourcing can work well, and the more eyes the better. After community review, GCU people could still have final approval, but chances are that all errors would be caught by sharp-eyed card creators, so time could be shortened. Just a thought.

We all know it probably will take at least 10-14 days for cards to get approved. Another thing to consider is that many new items do not get added to external search engines for 3-4 months. So it's better to plan ahead. I'm headed out to after Easter sales for Cherie and I's photo shoot for Easter cards next year, and we are already planning our 4th of July designs (we're a little late, they will probably do better next year). Just remember, if you plan ahead a year in advance, you can purchase props on sale (if you are a photographer) and you don't have the stress of hoping and praying your card will get approved on time.
