Forum access problems
Mar 31st, 2010, 4:30pm

Dear Support team,
I need help with the Forum notification. Even after my fellow artists’ help how to fix it, I still do not receive anything from the forum.

On the other hand, this was in my screen after I tried to enter the forum,

<Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /forum/yabb2/YaBB.pl.

Reason: Error reading from remote server

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Apache/2.2.14 (EL) Server at www.greetingcarduniverse.com Port 80>

Can you help me?

The Forum is such a vital component of GCU and I want to be part of all its interactivity. I want to receive the notifications of the forum again as I had received until a couple of days ago.
Please, help.

Thanks,
Leonilde

Hi Leonilde,

I looked into this and it would appear as though your account is setup to receive an email any time a new topic is created on the forum.  Can you check the spam folder in your email account to see if the emails are landing there by mistake?

Hi Shaun!
Thank you so much for helping me on this issue.  Smiley
You are right they are in the spam folder. It never occurred to me because in Google it is not really obvious where the Spam folder is like in other email carriers. I suppose there is some way to make them go to the inbox folder, I will find out later, because now it is too late and I am very tired.
