printing out the category list - reformat?

someone suggested printing out the category list and i thought ... you know that might just help me. so i went to the page and clicked the link to set the page up for printing.. print friendly format .

76 pages Shocked

my question is this the first 20 have 3 columns with categories in all three columns
the next set 21 - 67 46 pages have 3 columns with only 2 containing text and the last set of 68 - 76 only have text in one of the 3 columns. is there a way to remedy that? i would not even consider printing this out under this formatting.

the sheer amount of pages is mind boggling. no wonder i get so sick and dizzy trying to navigate it online.
and i know this adds to the frustration of submitting, resubmitting for edits when categories are concerned.

i know you are working on an easier way, but, you have to admit this is a little overwhelming at times.

Hi Denise,

Just thought I would pass on what I did months ago after finding the same issues you are regarding this list. I created a Word Document with 3 columns. Then I copied and pasted into this Word document. After I pasted a section in, I would highlight that part and remove the links by using the right click option. Then I would delete the areas I didn't really need such as all the letters of the alphabet under Name Specific. Then I would repeat with another section.

It's a great tool with less pages and you can even make it a font which is easier to read. Just passing on something that worked for me.

Hi,

Just had to share what I came up with as it really works great.

When working in a category, I go to the long list, highlight, copy and paste the specific category into my text program on apple (probably similar program on windows). Then I reformat it to regular text at a decent size. Name it, like thanksgiving category, and put it in a special file on my computer. I almost have every category done now. whew!

When I'm working, I just pull up the category, make it a narrow file on my screen at the side of my work space, and check off as I go right on the computer. I leave the check marks so when I pull up that category list again, know how many cards I made for each category.

This should probably be in artist chatter, but maybe will help as the 76 page list is daunting.
