My new photography BLOG

Hi everyone,

I have just started a photography BLOG at http://redrosedigitalart.blogspot.com. It will be about tips and tricks to do with photography. I would appreciate any feedback from this rather knowledgable group.

One post so far but one has to start somewhere!

My only suggestion is to include links to any appropriately themed GCU cards using the "Sell This Card" feature, especially if any of those lovely images you've put into the blog are also on cards. I second Corrie's suggestion in that you include links to some of your beautiful cards with the "Sell This Card" feature. Maybe have one with each blog entry.

You might want to check out sitemeter.com or statcounter.com. You can then track how much traffic your blog is getting, page views and a lot of other stuff. Both of them are free.

Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for the wonderful comments, encouragement and suggestions! I have been thinking about writing about photography for a while but finally got inspired to start the blog yesterday. I will also be adding cards as they suit the subject matter (thanks for the reminder, Corrie and Delores!). Statcounter to added as soon I figure out how (cheers, Tanya - just realised as I was writing this: the html gadget).

I already have more topics up my sleeve so do be sure to drop by my blog often! I hope to be updating it roughly once a week but, who knows, inspiration may strike more often. Wink

That means you have more than one type of camera, hmmmm. I use mine til it dies Wink

. I don't take great pictures knowing how to focus on the things I want so my hubby got me one of those auto focus ones, it does a lot of things and some that I don't use. I'll take pictures of just about anything that catches my eye Wink

. Be it butterflies, flowers, buildings, people, etc... . I don't have a pocket camera as I'm rough on stuff Wink

. But it makes sense to use what ever gets the picture the fastest and in focus Wink

.
